I just finished reading A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier.
This book will put most of your day to day problems, little annoyances that may get your blood boiling and your nerves frayed, into perspective.
If you are reading this blog, have regular access to the Internet, then you are doing well. It’s hard to see that in a country built on the idea of a dream that consists of doing better than your neighbor (a measurement system built on the idea of buying, buying, buying) and using what you own to measure your perceived wealth.
Read this book. In fact, if you want to borrow my copy you may. Email me at tunruh (AT) gmail DOT com and I’ll send it too you. Preference first to those I know.
